Aaargh. The problem I have with this is not that there may be something there, but the immediate response by the religious.

I do not believe brains are a filter. However, we do not understand physics well enough for me to rule that out.

But it gives me no reason not to continue my life as a rational atheist. There is nothing to be learned, no advantage, no reason to do anything differently.
