Absolutely.

What I can say about comments that are nasty, hateful, or simply don’t align with what you believe, try your best not to read them, and if you do read them, walk away. Honestly, arguing online with anyone doesn’t achieve a damn thing. All it will do is make you mad.

Absolutely. Walk away, don’t respond. If it’s really offensive, block them and hide their comment. If it is so offensive that it violates policy here, report them.
