The more people who stop, the less the rest of us have to read, the less that inspires us, the more it dampens our own desire to write, the more it dissuades us from being here at all.

So far, my earnings remain good. I don’t know how long that will last, and it is obvious that that Medium has adjusted something to do with how many people see which stories, but I hope to be able to work with that.

Giving up doesn’t help.
