Years ago we had oil heat. I'd used the same company for twenty years. One day I saw an add for another company charging 25% less per gallon. I checked a few more; everybody was charging around that price but I was paying much more.

So I canceled them. Almost immediately the owner called me back offering to lower his price.

I said no, because he'd been overcharging for years. I didn't trust him any longer.
