As am I. But maybe it’s not as surprising as it seems. The people with bad math skills taking the finance courses might have had difficulty understanding and, because they lacked math skills, never put any of it into practice later in life.

The people good at math may not have needed the courses, as there is really nothing difficult (well, from my perspective as someone who always did well with math). I assume that when the time came to make real financial decisions, they just figured it out.
