As Congress Won’t, Why Don’t We #keepdst ?

Be a noncomformist: #keepdst

Apparently our U.S. Congress would like to stop our annual timezone two-steps, but somehow they cannot agree on whether to keep Day Light Saving Time or Standard Time. That’s in spite of a lot of evidence in favor of crowning DST as our Perpetual Time Lord.

Really, they can’t agree? Or is it a fib, and the real reason has something to do with campaign money?

Oh, energy saving? Sure, but which industry saves with which? I’m not saying all our congress critters are beholden to special interests, am I? No, no, a thousand times no! They are all only thinking of what’s best for us cute little citizens. Well, those citizens with deep pockets, anyway. Not you.

I don’t think we can depend upon Congress to do diddly-squat about this — or very much else other than subpoena somebody’s laptop. So why don’t we become rebels with a cause? Let’s keep DST.

Why? Because switching kills people.
