As I said in another comment, ”They” don’t get a site taken down. YOU have to file a takedown request because it is your copyright. It’s fairly easy, but I stopped doing it many years ago because filling out paperwork over and over again is like shoveling manure against the tide.

I suppose Medium could help by finding the information needed for the DMCA takedown request, and telling us which posts of ours were taken by the sites. That would make it easier to file requests.

However, I learned years ago that it is whack-a-mole and gave up. The thieves just pop up elsewhere. They probably have the whole process automated.
