Bamboo Towels — Who Knew ?

Reusable, lighter, softer, and more absorbent — and no guilt

As we all know, paper towels have been difficult to find during this pandemic. Even when available, you cannot necessarily get what you want: our local stores are now well-stocked, but the rolls are all Select-a-Size. I think Select-a-Size is a wonderful option, but my wife will not have them. You would think that these towels burned the tips of her fingers by her reaction whenever I have accidentally bought them.

I have been annoyed and ashamed of our paper towel waste for years. I air dry the sheets and reuse them, but even so, we use too many. The pandemic caused shortage has only given me one more reason to wish for something better.

Because of all that, I looked around for alternatives and found Bamboo Towels for sale on Amazon.

I thought that was a great solution. Washable, reusable, and, although a bit expensive, the ad copy suggested that one roll would replace sixty paper towel rolls. I excitedly ran to show my wife, my finger poised over the Add To Cart button. Our paper towel problems would soon be behind us!

Apparently, this idea was akin to suggesting that we replace our paper towels with my underwear. My wife saw no value in bamboo towels. I retreated, defeated.
