For a long time now, I’ve had a desire to take these posts I make at Medium to YouTube. Well, maybe desire is too strong a word. Let’s just say that the thought crosses my mind now and then.

Whenever that thought has intruded, I have quickly brushed it away. There are too many reasons NOT to do this. That I don’t own a suitable camera is a biggie, but more than that, reading one of my posts on YouTube strikes me as utterly boring for you and for me.

Why would you want to watch me read something that you could read yourself?

Well, one thing you learn as a salesperson is not to sell to your own wallet. I personally do not like videos. Because I can read like a rabbit being chased by a fox, I’d much rather read a transcript of most presentations. I don’t even like YouTube and almost never watch anything there.

But that’s me. Maybe you have weak eyes or are a slow reader. Maybe you are a visual person. It’s dumb and presumptuous of me to decide that nobody would prefer a visual presentation.
