For thirty-plus years my business took me all over New England and I loved Rhode Island the best.

Why? Because I couldn't get lost for long. Just drive east or west and very quickly you'll either hit Connecticut, Rte 295 or 95, or the ocean. In fact, drive in any direction and you'll hit one of those or Massachusetts where I live.

And as the vast majority of the businesses I'd be going to were nestled between routes 95 and 295, that made it even easier. I'd seldom be lost more than fifteen minutes in Rhode Island, but I could be driving in circles for hours in any other New England state.
