For those of us who can and do have the discipline to pay them off each month, credit cards with cash points give us extra money. I typically earn $40 to $60 back every month. Most of that comes from an Amex card that pays 6% on supermarket purchases.
That’s not a lot, but it pays my gasoline at least.
