…may feel exceptionally bad about the war in Ukraine, but it does not change the war in the Ukraine. Forcing ourselves to ‘send good feelings’ to the people of Ukraine does not result in the citizens of that country now to face death happily. It doesn’t stop the war. It does precisely nothing.
