Good call.

In every business, some people can smell money and some can’t.

I had a computer programming/troubleshooting/consulting business for over thirty years. When I was at a client’s business, I listened to what people around me were saying and often found new business opportunities that I could offer.

At one time, I had employees, but most of them never found new work. They should have; they would have earned bonus pay for that. But they couldn’t smell the money.

It’s a valuable skill and it’s not just because you are an editor. That comes from a special nose.
