How Many Puppies Shall We Let Out Today?
Don’t let the puppies out all at once
I’ve been writing on the Internet thingy since the early nineties. Nobody knows me, I’m not famous. Well, that’s not entirely true. I did once get introduced to someone and he exclaimed “You are THAT Tony Lawrence? Wow! I’ve read a lot of your stuff!”.
He was probably thinking of someone else. He insisted otherwise and gave me the plot of something I had written earlier that week. It somehow happened to be mine, which was discomforting and weird.
But yeah, I’ve written a lot and a lot of it is still out there and a lot of it is lost forever. I remembered a funny thing I wrote years ago about Ding-Bat Bolts. It had a brief flame of popularity but I never saved a copy of it and the site that published it has gone away. Not even the Wayback Machine can find it.
I did find the cartoon I drew for it. These, my friends, are Ding-Bat Bolts.
If my memory serves, these bolts were slightly curved and deliberately made to cross-thread instantly. I cannot remember why.
OK, but how many stories should I write?
Oh, that was a question? I thought I was talking to myself. You actually want me to give you advice? How odd…
