I agree with you, but you are ignoring other possibilities from scientific advances. We may someday be able to engineer mechanical bodies. We may be able to move a whole damn planet wherever we want. Teleportation seems intractable for many reasons, but we don't know what physics really drives our universe.

I wouldn't bet against you no matter what odds I was offered, but the odds exist just the same.
