I agree with you that comparing today’s technology to then is foolish. However, what gives me some pause is human greed (which we have ample evidence of at drug companies) and political pressure (which we are seeing right now).

I trust the technology. Humans, well, not as much. I think I’ll keep playing it very safe until any vaccines have a little longer history.
