I bought my first Mac in 2006, though I had been buying their stock a few years earlier.

The price didn't bother me. They weren't that much more expensive than decent PC's. I loved that the OS had Unix roots and came with a real command line and a develpment system.

A few years later I bought the first iPad. I waited until the iPhone 5 to complete my Applefication, but it's been all Apple ever since.
