I bought the new M1 Macbook Air. Battery life with Optimized Battery Charging turned on is extremely long. The least remaining charge I have seen so far is 40%.

Funny thing is, when I saw that hit 50%, I reached for the charging cable. Then I stopped, realizing that I had already been using the computer for ten hours - there was no way that wouldn't last me the rest of my day.
