I can well remember when our youngest daughter asked me when I thought she could start having sex.

I launched into a pro/con discourse, including diseases, being sure of your choices, and so on. She asked a few questions. Eventually, I stood up and said something like, “Ultimately, this is your decision.:”

And then she said, “Too late, Dad”, and turned back to her homework.

I walked out speechless :)
