I detest it because of the support needed.

Unix, Linux, and Mac systems need far less support. I saw that time and time again in my support business. I had many customers not running Windows at all and often I was all they needed — no inside support at all.

But the Windows clients with a few other systems that I helped them with? Inside staff, almost always, and large numbers relative to the Windows machines needing support.
