I did not expect much from this, but I loved it. Fifty years ago, I played blitz/speed chess with a friend for hours at a time. I’d been a casual player before that; the friend approached me because people at his work played during lunch and he did not know how.

We played most every night, game after game, for months. He learned quickly and was soon beating the players at work. Then we moved, and I have not played since then.
