I Didn’t Even Know What Apple Replay Is, But Now I Feel Inadequate

I subscribe to Apple’s Premier Apple One. That gives me a bundle of services that costs less than all the services would together.

One of those services is Apple Music. Within Apple Music, Apple Music Replay makes a playlist of your favorite songs — the ones you’ve listened to this year. According to what I can find on the web, Apple updates this every week, and you can get playlists and stats all the way back to 2015.

Well, you might be able to do this, but I can’t, because Apple doesn’t seem to think that I listen to enough music.

I’d like to contest that decision. Is quantity a better measurement than quality? Should consistency not count? Every night I ask Siri to play “Rain Sounds” on my bedside HomePod. It plays until I wake up in the morning; should that count for naught? Is it not Apple Music?
