I do love my Airpods and my AirPod pros, but I have seen too many complaints about defective product. I don’t know if these came from a bad production run or is across the whole line, but my anecdotal experience is that it’s higher than it was for either version of the plain Airpods.
The problem seems to be one or both airpods not charging. I do not know if it is the cases or the earpieces. With two where I was personally involved in helping to convince Apple to replace them, we had to send back everything. I don’t know whether that was just to confirm the testing I had done while on the phone with them.
I do know other people had them replaced in store, but I wasn’t there to observe.
