I don't identify with either side. I believe in science, kindness, compassion and fairness.

Neither party gives me that, but the GOP is nothing like that at all.

An overwhelming percentage of humans do not and will not embrace those ideals. Where is the common ground you claim to see?

I do not see any common ground. We do not have two sides of a coin. We have greed, rejection of science, corruption, and selfishness. The degree varies, of course, but there is no common ground.
