I don’t know what I would give to restore my wife’s health. I know I have spent a good pile of money, countless hours of taking her to doctors, and many sleepless nights trying to comfort her.

I have often thought that if I won the lottery, I’d pack her off to the Mayo Clinic , and if they could do nothing, I’d hire 24 hour help to attend to her every need.

I’d accept the gift and accept the consequences as long as they did not affect her life adversely.
