I have 23 cent stories too. Aside from the superstars, I’m sure everyone does.

But this year - 2024 or ten months of it so far, has paid for a new 13 inch iPad Pro with the pencil and Magic Keyboard, a new iPhone 16 Pro phone for me, a plain 16 for my wife, new AirPods Pro 2 for both of us, my Ultra 2 watch, a new Mac Mini, plus a new screen and keyboard — and there is money left over, which I just spent on a J9 Roomba because I’m tired of vacuuming this house.

What’s the difference between us? You are the better writer by far. You are at least four times funnier, and three times better at any topic (Multipliers vetted by my world famous accountants).

You just need more time.

More followers. More evergreen stories. More patience.

So don’t work. I don’t. I do not read one single story that doesn’t interest me. I don’t respond or even necessarily acknowledge comments on my stories unless I want to.
