I have considered publishing things I write as podcasts and have tried Anchor. Three things hold me back.

The first is sheer laziness.

The second is that I don't like spoken material. I listen to podcasts when I'm in the car or out walking, but never at any other time. My objection is how slow it is compared to reading.

Both of these are ridiculous reasons and I keep kicking myself to just get started. The final reason is more difficult.

As I said, I've looked at Anchor. It is, as you say, quite attractive and easy. But so is Youtube, which has an advantage of discoverability that podcasts lack.

So then I think I should do both, but Youtube does require more work because it's visual, so then I kick the can down the road yet again..
