I have taught several women (and weak men) how to do pushups.

It’s simple: you start with reverses, lowering yourself slowly to the floor instead of pushing up. After not very long, you’ll be able to start doing real pushups.

The same method works with pull-ups, bench presses (spotter needed) and many other things.
