I Have to Pat Myself on the Back
Though that does look silly and hurts my shoulder joints

I did not think I could do this well today because I still have a strained leg muscle and I’ve been struggling to get below a 17’30” pace. I was beginning to wonder if old age was catching up to me. But, I set out with great resolve to push hard.
Then, my sister called half way into it, so I was huffing and puffing trying to keep the pace uphill while talking to her. I wanted a flat 15 minute pace, but I guess this was pretty good under the circumstances.
Cooler air certainly helps!
