I have very different opinions. First, we don't know what's coming. We don't know if SwiftUI on the iPad will be advantageous even if you then polish code on your Mac. We don't know how much efficiency Universal Control will add to our work -- though I expect that it will add a lot.

We also don't know what other apps are in the pipeline or how close they are to being ready. All that power and RAM isn't there for no reason.
