People say “Great for you, but I can’t write tech!”

That’s not true though. A lot of the tech I write is my opinions, not “how it works.” Unless you are a complete Luddite, you have opinions about tech, maybe funny stories, maybe even tragic stories (being scammed, losing irreplaceable photos, unfinished writing). You can write tech.

I don’t know if Politics still pays well, but I would think so. Again, same advice: you can write about your feelings, how political decisions give you hope or fear.
