I think we fret about all this too much. Life is chemistry, chemistry is physics. What is the point to these distinctions? This is, that isn’t, this is almost.. this virus can kill you, but so can this chemical compound.

We are getting closer to a much higher understanding of the chemistry we call life. Soon enough we will be masters at assembling machines that are as “alive” as we need them to be and the distinctions will be even more blurry.

I cannot see why it matters exceot to the religious.
