I took his email to me on that to be more of a warning than an order. I thanked him, but pointed out that I have dealt with worse people. He wrote back, almost begging that time, but I held fast, saying "I WILL read J.J. Pryor and damn the consequences!"

He hasn't written again about anything. A mutual friend says that I have hurt him deeply.
