I will not refuse to follow an Illumination writer (I do follow several), but I do not like the publication itself because it actively encourages incestuous promotion within the membership.

It’s also very spotty, allowing some very bad writing to be published. And finally, it’s a disorganized mess with no theme.

I think unthemed publications should be banned on Medium, but I don’t run the place.

As to that ridiculous “should not be considered writers”, whoever penned that is very, very wrong.
