I wonder if this says something about men in general or men who use these sites? If that kind of nonsense really is representative of my sex, I can’t say I’d be overly surprised, but I wish it were not.

I think that if I needed to date, I’d join a book club, a walking club, go to yoga or other fitness classes, take a language class, join a travel club, well, really hook up with any sort of thing that interests me where I might meet people who share my interests.

I don’t think there is a reading in bed club; if there were, I’d join that too. Also the “I leave half read books scattered around the house” club and the “Aren’t museums great?” club.

If I used a dating site, I’d be listing those activities. Of course, I am older, married 56 years, so I don’t really know how I’d feel and I hope never to find out.
