I Wouldn’t Buy An IPad Without The Apple Pencil

But I think I might buy the new M1 iPad

My current iPad is a 2018 model iPad Pro. It has plenty of life left in it, which is a problem for Apple: people tend to keep iPads for a long time. I noticed that when I worked at an Apple store after I retired: when people brought in iPads to trade up, they were often very old. These things hang in there!

I bought the Apple Pencil with that iPad. That is a $129 add-on. For a graphic artist, it’s a wonderful tool…
