If you use Apple, there is Hide My Email in IOS 15. I have an article about it but the short of it is that it let's you easily create email addresses that come to your real email. If the abuse gets out of hand, you disable that email and nobody can use it any more.

If you use Android, create another gmail address. That's much more cumbersome, but it works.

Or, there are paid services which work like Apple's HME does.
