It does. Her next head scan is Wednesday. If it’s bad, she wants to quit the immunotherapy that is making her so sick. I understand - this is a deadly cancer and it’s not worth suffering to gain a few months. She’d rather have some quality time. I hate it, but I understand and agree. Her husband does not and I don’t think my wife will either. I hate it.
One of her doctors told her to pray to Jesus. One of her doctors! None of us are religious, but normally when someone says “I’ll pray for you” we all just accept it graciously, but this made her and us very angry. Her husband snapped “That’s not appropriate!”. Had I been there, I might have said worse. I’d regret it instantly, but in that moment I’d have been seriously pissed off.
