It hasn’t failed with his supporters.

We spoke to my wife’s 87 year old uncle yesterday. He is the last surviving member of the family my wife grew up in, so we forgive him his rabid Trumpism. Also, he doesn’t vote, so it’s easier to ignore.

Right away he piped up with “Bad news for Biden: his crooked son and he have been caught red handed.”

(Well, he said “crooked son and him”, of course.)

I said “No, they haven’t, and you know we should not talk politics.”

He looked frustrated. “No, it’s all over for Biden. He’s a crook!”

My wife reminded him again that we will not talk politics with him. He sulked for a minute and then changed the subject.

I’m quite sure every Trumpet is spinning the same tale.
