It’s Raining Money!
Or that could be water
Such a lovely month! Almost $200 from writing came in from last month’s tom-foolery and literary scalwaggery. As the hourly effort put into the production of these works seldom exceeds two hundred minutes per day, one can easily imagine what sort of rewards greater effort would return.
Unfortunately, I lack the energy to churn the writing machine for longer periods. Other things, like housework, shopping, and musing consume my time. Then there is dithering, doom scrolling, idle key pecking, wife-kissing, and more musing.
Learning Spanish with Duolingo draws on my bank of available hours, though there is little doubt that after two years I could now converse quite well with most native Spanish-speaking three-year-olds if they could be convinced to speak very s-l-o-w-l-y with perfect enunciation in the present tense only.
Exercise is very important to me. I do push-ups, pull-ups, squats and the like, and almost every day I go for a twenty-minute walk up and down the hills of our over-55 community. I wish to proudly inform you that I have never become lost and seldom stumble over carelessly placed leaves and such.
