It’s the ability to learn that is critical and transformative.

Making a cup of coffee and bringing it to me is an incredibly difficult task, but if I can *show* it and an android can mimic, we are getting somewhere. Just as I would with a child, I can correct errors (“You have to open that new bag of coffee before you can scoop any out’ and “Oh, we are out of coffee, but there is a new bag in the freezer”).

But when we have that, what need is there for programmers?
