I use ChatGPT to help me. For example, it has this to say in response to my “Alt-text for this photo” plea:

The keyhole appears to be floating or wall-mounted, with a visible shadow cast on the surface below, suggesting the keyhole is elevated. I wouldn’t use all of that, but it helps me quickly see what I can and perhaps should say for a person with vision difficulties.
