There is an Italian bakery in downtown Middleboro that is a front for a Jewish Space Laser repair shop. I mention this because I heard that many Jewish Space Lasers were damaged during the recent eclipse and I want to help out.

I don’t have a Space Laser myself due to not being Jewish by not having a Jewish mother or father, which the latter wouldn’t have helped, though I do have some Jewish ancestors from my father’s side, and I was born, grew up, and lived in Sharon, MA until we moved down here. Sharon was and is a very Jewish town, so much so that when I was a boy, the Jewish Holidays effectively emptied the schools. In my Sixth Grade class, I think there might have been two or three of us who were not.

It was weird. And dumb. But at the time, they had to keep the schools open by Massachusetts law. I don’t know if that is still true.

Anyway, my point is that I Know People Who Know Lasers, if you know what I mean, and THEY say this place in Middleborough is the best. For laser repair. Nobody said anything about the cannolis.

Stevie, who is not the Stevie who’s dad named Stevie’s Deli in Sharon for, but the other Stevie, was the one who told me about the repair shop because he had damaged his own Laser.
