Millions of users like me don’t want third party app stores because we trust them less than we trust Apple. Many developers know that and also don’t want the trouble and expense of running their own store.

You and your ilk may get your way, but the results will harm all of us. As I have tried to point out to others like you, Apple will get its take one way or another and all the other ways are unpleasant for developers and users alike.

Very, very foolish and shortsighted.
