I eventually purchased an M1 MacBook Air and I don’t see how anyone could regret buying one. Pound-for-pound and dollar-for-dollar it’s Apple’s best Mac. Fast, cool, silent, and light, with all-day battery life, there’s no need to wait for the encore.

*Mostly* all day. Sometimes some app goes nuts overnight and I find myself about ready to be shut down in the AM. It's infrequent enough that I haven't tried to find it and whatever it was has ceased by morning. Still some bugs in that OS!
