My 80 year old sister took up running.
Well, I couldn’t have that, could I? I’m seven years younger; if she can do it, so can I. So yesterday I added some running to my daily walk.
I had tried this a few years ago and hurt my back. I think that was because I jogged rather than ran. Jogging is a bit bouncy. Running is fluid.
Yesterday I ran — for not all that long, and not all that fast, but I ran.
It felt good. I had some minor complaints from my shins later, but that should work out. I’ll try it again in a few days.
