The first story I read this morning was Roz Warren asking why we don’t feel safe.

That resonated like a big old church bell. I don’t feel safe either. There are too many scary COVID mutations and too many carefree folks who proudly won’t wear masks because looking out for other folks’ welfare is a heinous imposition on their gawd-given freedom.

Or, when forced to don the hated apparel, use it as an opportunity to sneer at the rest of us.
