My wife and I had a similar conversation about her having hip replacement surgery. Some people in our neighborhood have had this and we have seen them walk by our house doing walking therapy. Good results!

But I also know someone who ended up worse off. He's not out walking because he can't. That's a piece of data we need: how many people did not have good results?
