New Opinion Buttons Are Coming Soon
Say what you really mean
Claps are not working. Some think anything less than fifty claps is rude. Others think more than one is idiotic. Other people just don’t think, but they don’t have opinions about Claps, so we don’t need to worry about them. They’d be fine with or without Claps.
The rest of us? We need more control. Claps are divisive, yes, but they also are too coarse. They do not have subtlety, nuance. We are writers, are we not? We live by shades of meaning. Our words dredge up buried emotions, expose truth, beg for justice. We deserve better than Claps!
We shall soon have that. I have been informed by a reliable source that new buttons will let you express your feelings much more accurately.
Note that changes and additions are possible before release. This is the information I can share today.
