No, I worked at an Apple Store for almost 5 years. A LOT of customers honestly would be better off with a dumb phone— they don’t do much more than use it for calls and texts and barely understand that. Many did not use passcodes, didn’t know their Apple ID; really knew nothing.

The Apple haters are correct that many are lemmings following the herd. It’s part keeping up with the Jones and part that their more aware friends have Apple phones, computers, iPads.
